About KVAA

Association History

The KVAA Inc. was formed on 7 June 1984 from the Korean Veterans Association (KVA) and the Korea and South East Asia Forces Association (KSEAFA) making it the largest association of Korean War veterans in Australia. Though centred in Victoria, it has a substantial membership in NSW and Queensland and members in WA, SA, Tas and the Territories.

The Aims of the Association

  • To protect the interests of the Membership including dependents of deceased members who served in Korea until 1956, and those Peace Keepers who served after the Cease Fire in 1953.
  • To advise members generally on matters of rehabilitation, pensions and other available benefits.
  • To make known to the public the role we played in the United Nations Forces.
  • To organise reunions, social events and ceremonies relevant to the Association.
